Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actor that has won critical acclaim for her talents. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She is oldest among three siblings, born to Peter Moore Smith who was a paratrooper. The mother of her child Anne is a psychotherapist. Her parents are of English as well as Scottish heritage. Due to her father's job the Moore family often relocated and she struggled to establish friendships, or to keep ones. Moore's family moved to Germany and she attended Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting opportunities were on stage in plays. Following the completion of the requirements for her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to pursue further studies. She graduated in 1983 with the degree of B.F.A. Moore started her theater career off-Broadway in New York, after she graduated. She first appeared in an episode of The Edge of Night, which was telecast on the network in 1985. The episode aired in 1986. she portrayed the two characters that were Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). This became her biggest breakthrough. She was on this show from 1988 to the present and was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. In 1990, she began her film debut with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that was later criticized as the worst low-budget production. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), both Robert Altman productions, were her first film. The films were critically acclaimed and Moore won multiple nominations. Moore got her first role in the role of a leading lady on the screen in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg's casting of Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the top grossing films of 1997, marked a major moment in Moore's career. In 1999, she received the SAG Award for her performance in Magnolia. She co-starred with Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep as well as others in The Hours, which was awarded nine times at the Academy Awards. Moore also appeared in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) along with a host of other films. Non-Stop premiered in the year 2014. Moore was a regular on many television and film shows. The most recent role she has played is in When You Finish Saving the World (2022). In Hollywood as well, she has established herself as a writer for kids. In 2007, she published Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. This best-seller was turned into a film, a series, and even into a musical. In 2013, she released Her Mom is A Foreigner. Moore has a public life as a renowned actress and novelist. She was married in 1984 to John Robin and in 1995 they divorced. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore then married in 2003 has two kids with her. Moore is a woman who values her family and career.
